Marian and Cumberlands Play to Scoreless Draw

No. 5 Marian and No. 2 Cumberlands battled to a 0-0 draw.

This was a genuine Top-5 defensive struggle.

Marian created the greater volume of chances early, including attempts from Sienna Mullen and Olivia Parmer. Parmer put an early shot on target, but Cumberlands kept the Knights off the board.

The Knights generated five corner kicks in the first half.

There was also an unusual interruption at halftime, with a campus-wide power outage extending the break before play eventually resumed.

Marian came out aggressively after the delay and fired five shots before Cumberlands recorded its first second-half attempt in the 73rd minute.

Neither side could break through.

Lily Ames played all 90 minutes in goal for Marian and made two saves to earn the clean sheet.

Offensively, Olivia Parmer led Marian with four shots, putting two on goal. Sophia Dawson also placed both of her attempts on target, while Sienna Mullen finished with three shots.

Marian remains unbeaten at 3-0-1, while Cumberlands moves to 2-0-1
