Crown Point kept the Trojans off the scoreboard and extended its winning streak to four. Chesterton entered the night 9-1 but suffered its first conference loss and fell to 9-2 overall.
It was an important result in a loaded Class 3A picture, with Chesterton entering the week firmly inside the ISCA Top 10.
No. 7 Valparaiso 7, Merrillville 0
Seventh-ranked Valparaiso continued its strong run with a convincing 7-0 victory over Merrillville.
The Vikings controlled the match and produced one of the biggest offensive performances of Wednesday’s slate. Valparaiso improved to 7-1-2 with the result and extended its winning streak.

No. 12 Carroll delivered one of the night’s most complete performances, shutting out Fort Wayne Northrop, 5-0.
The Chargers recorded their third consecutive road victory and improved to 6-3-2. Carroll has scored 11 goals during that three-game winning streak and has now produced five victories this season by at least three goals.
