Girls HS Soccer Recap from Tuesday

Tuesday was a busy night across Indiana high school girls soccer, with teams throughout the ISCA Top 20 in all three classes taking the field. Mishawaka Marian captured a conference championship, Park Tudor and Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran produced huge offensive performances, and two ranked teams battled to a draw in Fort Wayne.
Class 3A
One of the night’s biggest results came in Mishawaka, where No. 13 Mishawaka Marian defeated No. 11 Penn 1-0 to capture the Northern Indiana Conference championship.
Keely Lauver scored the decisive goal for Marian. The match was stopped late and ultimately declared official with the Knights holding the 1-0 advantage. Marian improved to 8-2 and avenged last year’s 2-0 loss to Penn, which had given the Kingsmen the 2025 NIC championship.
Two other ranked teams met in Fort Wayne, where No. 18 Northrop and 1A No. 4 Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian played to a 2-2 draw. Northrop remained unbeaten at 9-0-1, while Blackhawk moved to 7-1-1.
Class 2A
No. 1 Evansville Memorial continued its strong season with a 4-1 victory over Castle. The match was tied 1-1 at halftime before Memorial broke it open with three second-half goals.
No. 3 Park Tudor delivered one of Tuesday’s biggest offensive performances, overwhelming University 9-0. The Panthers improved to 7-1-2 with the victory.
No. 7 Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran was even more explosive, rolling past Fort Wayne Wayne 14-0. The 14 goals represented a season high for the Cadets, who improved to 7-2.
No. 16 Heritage Hills was also in action against Jasper. The Wildcats came away with a 3-1 victory, handing the Patriots a setback.
Class 1A
Top-ranked Westview left little doubt in its matchup with Central Noble. The Warriors rolled to an 11-1 victory, continuing a strong start to their season.
No. 4 Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian faced one of its toughest tests of the season against 3A No. 18 Northrop. Neither side could find a winner as the teams finished in a 2-2 draw.
No. 8 Switzerland County turned in a clean sheet, defeating Rising Sun 4-0.
No. 12 Bremen picked up another conference victory by edging Glenn 2-1. Bremen scored first and held on for the one-goal decision.
No. 14 Lakewood Park Christian defeated Fort Wayne Bishop Luers 3-1, while No. 16 South Knox and Pike Central finished in a 1-1 draw.
No. 18 Shawe Memorial remained unbeaten with a 2-0 shutout of Trinity Lutheran. The Hilltoppers improved to 6-0 and extended their winning streak to six matches.
