Girls Soccer Recap from 8/27

Thursday was another busy night of girls high school soccer across Indiana, with several ranked teams putting together dominant performances and plenty of goals scored around the state.
Class 3A #15 Lawrence North delivered one of the biggest wins of the night, rolling past Warren Central 14-0. continued their strong start with an offensive explosion against their MIC opponent. The Wildcats are 5-0 while Warren Central slips to 0-2.
Class 3A #13 East Central reached double figures in a 10-1 victory over South Dearborn. The trojans are now 4-1 while South Dearborn slips to 1-2-1 on the season.
Class 3A #19 Mishawaka Marian blanks South Bend Riley 9-0. For Mishawaka Marian, Milana Micola and Paytin Mason each scored a pair of goals. The Knights are 4-1 while South Bend Riley slips to 0-2-1.
Class 3A #14 Castle earns a 9-0 victory over Evansville Central. Addie Folz and Payton Angel each score a pair of goals for the Knights. Castle is 3-1 while Evansville Central is 0-5.
Class 2A #1 Evansville Memorial picked up a quality victory, defeating #14 Jasper 3-1 in SIAC play. Memorial is 4-1 while Jasper slips to 4-1-1 with their first defeat of the season.
Class 2A #11 Tri-West Hendricks rolled to a 9-0 victory over Western Boone. Kaydence Steffey scored 5 goals in the effort for Bruins.
Class 2A #12 Batesville had a huge night offensively, defeating Greensburg 9-0. Ella Wade, Addie Reding, and Hailee Weisenbach each scored a pair of goals for the Bulldogs in the win. Batesville is 4-0 while Greensburg slips to 3-1.
Class 2A #13 Heritage Hills blanked Southridge 6-0. For the Patriots, Cora Lasher scored a hat trick in the win. Patriots are now 3-0 while previously unbeaten Southridge slips to 3-1.
Class 2A #15 Madison cruised to an 8-0 shutout of Charlestown. For the Cubs, they are 4-0 on the season while Charlestown slips to 0-3-1.
Class 2A #20 Kankakee Valley improves to 3-0 on the season with a 5-2 win over Highland. With the loss, Highland slips to 3-1.
In Class 1A, #19 Shawe Memorial defeated Milan 6-4 in one of the highest-scoring matches of the night. For the Hilltoppers, they are now 3-0 on the season while Milan slips to 1-2.
In Class 1A, #14 Covington remained impressive with a 9-0 shutout of South Vermillion. The trojans are 5-0 on the season while South Vermillion slips to 0-4.
In Class 1A, #17 Sheridan blanks Alexandria-Monroe 10-. For Sheridan, Alexa Hills scores a hat trick while Sadie Timme and Emily Berner each added a pair of goals. Sheridan is 2-0-1 on the season while Alexandria-Monroe is now 0-3-2.
Class 1A #12 Trinity Academy found the back of the net eight times in an 8-0 victory over Jimtown. Trinity Academy remains unbeaten at 4-0 on the season while Jimtown slips to 0-3.
Class 1A #3 Westview downs Garrett 8-0. For Westview, they are now 4-1 while the Railroaders are 1-4.
Class 1A #16 White River Valley defeats Bedford North Lawrence 4-0. For the Wolverines, Freshman Madelynn Settles scored a pair of goals and had an assist. Junior sister Molly Settles added a pair of goals. Leia Fulford made 6 saves in the win. WRV is now 3-0 on the season while Bedford North Lawrence is 0-3.
Class 1A #9 Lapel defeats New Castle 1-0. For Lapel, Sophia Bruce scored the lone goal in the contest. Grace Milligan made 7 saves. The Bulldogs are 4-0 while New Castle dips to 3-1.
Silver Creek also reached nine goals, shutting out Austin 9-0.
Pike Central had an impressive performance in Southwestern Indiana, blanking North Knox 8-0.
Maconaquah rolled past Tri-Central 8-1.
Indianapolis Arsenal Tech put together a 7-0 shutout of Indianapolis Washington.
Boone Grove earned a 7-0 victory over Marquette Catholic.
DeKalb defeated New Haven 7-1.
Lakeland blanked Central Noble 6-0.
Forest Park earned a 6-0 victory over Princeton.
Peru also recorded a shutout, defeating Wabash 6-0.
Franklin Central blanked Ben Davis 6-0.
Crown Point earned a 2-1 victory over Lake Central in a tightly contested Northwest Indiana matchup.
East Noble edged Huntington North 2-1.
North Miami picked up a 2-1 victory over Wawasee.
Harrison and Brebeuf Jesuit played to a 1-1 draw.
Indianapolis Shortridge edged Herron 3-2.
Culver Community earned a 2-1 victory over DeMotte Christian.
Argos defeated Morgan Township 5-2.
LaVille blanked Westville 9-0.
Kouts earned a 1-0 victory over La Porte.
Rensselaer Central defeated Hebron 5-2.
Christel House blanked Indianapolis Crispus Attucks 6-0.
Greenwood Christian Academy earned a 5-1 victory over Indianapolis Scecina Memorial.
Barr-Reeve shut out Vincennes Rivet 4-0.
Southmont defeated Northview 5-1.
