Indiana College Men’s Soccer Preview — Saturday, August 29

Saturday’s college men’s soccer schedule around Indiana leans heavily toward the NAIA ranks, with several in-state programs getting opportunities to build momentum before conference play begins.
One of the featured matches comes in Marion, while Indianapolis hosts an all-Indiana matchup and UIndy continues its early-season Division II schedule.
Olivet Nazarene at Indiana Wesleyan — 7:30 PM
Indiana Wesleyan gets another significant early-season test when the Wildcats welcome No. 25 Olivet Nazarene to IWU Soccer Field.
The Wildcats enter the weekend 1-0, opening their season with a victory over Dalton State. Indiana Wesleyan is coming off an 11-5-3 season in 2025 that included a second-place Crossroads League finish and a fourth consecutive trip to the NAIA National Tournament.
Olivet Nazarene was also an NAIA Tournament team last season, advancing to the second round. That makes Saturday an important early measuring stick for a Wildcat program with postseason expectations.
Kickoff: 7:30 PM in Marion.
IU Columbus at Marian — 7 PM
It’s an all-Indiana matchup in Indianapolis as IU Columbus travels to Marian.
IU Columbus enters after picking up a 1-0 victory over Governors State on Wednesday, giving the Crimson Pride some momentum heading into their first road match of the regular season.
Marian begins a lengthy stretch of home matches with Saturday’s contest. The Knights’ non-conference schedule is designed to prepare them for a difficult Crossroads League slate later in September.
Kickoff: 7 PM at Ascension St. Vincent Field in Indianapolis.
Indiana Northwest vs. Indiana East — 2 PM
Two Indiana University regional programs meet on neutral ground as IU Northwest faces IU East at Eaton High School in Ohio.
For IU East, Saturday provides another early-season opportunity before River States Conference play takes center stage.
Kickoff: 2 PM ET in Eaton, Ohio.
Madonna at Saint Francis — 3 PM
Saint Francis gets a home opportunity against Madonna University in Fort Wayne.
Madonna enters Saturday unbeaten at 1-0-1, having tied Holy Cross 1-1 before defeating Goshen 3-1 Wednesday.
Saint Francis will be looking to bounce back after dropping a tight 1-0 decision to Indiana Tech Wednesday night. Indiana Tech scored the only goal of that match to move past the Cougars.
Kickoff: 3 PM at Bishop John M. D’Arcy Stadium in Fort Wayne.
Taylor at Wittenberg — 6 PM
Taylor heads to Ohio for a non-conference road match against Wittenberg.
The Trojans are coming off a 1-1 draw with IU East after opening their regular season with a convincing 6-0 victory over Defiance.
Saturday gives Taylor another opportunity to develop before the Crossroads League schedule begins later in September.
Kickoff: 6 PM ET.
Lake Erie at UIndy — 2 PM
At the NCAA Division II level, UIndy plays its home opener against Lake Erie.
The Greyhounds opened their regular season Thursday at Cedarville and now return to Indianapolis for an Alumni Day matchup.
UIndy has put together a challenging 17-match regular-season schedule as the Greyhounds prepare for another run through the GLVC.
Kickoff: 2 PM in Indianapolis.
