Indy Eleven Visits Phoenix

Indy Eleven takes a two-match winning streak west Saturday night for a USL Championship matchup against Phoenix Rising FC.

The Boys in Blue have put together their best stretch of August, going 2-0-1 this month. Indy enters the match having scored 23 goals while conceding 22 through 19 league matches. Phoenix has scored 29 and allowed 29 through 21 contests.

Indy is coming off a big 2-1 victory over rival Louisville City FC last Saturday at Carroll Stadium. Bruno Rendon continued his strong season by scoring his team-leading eighth USL Championship goal and 10th goal across all competitions. Aodhan Quinn recorded his fourth league assist of the season on Rendon’s goal.

Rendon will again be one of the biggest players to watch Saturday. He leads Indy with eight league goals, 35 shots and 21 shots on target. Quinn has been the primary creator, leading the club with 39 chances created and four assists. Goalkeeper Eric Dick has also been important, ranking fifth in the USL Championship with 61 saves.

Quinn could also reach an Indy milestone. His next appearance would be his 100th across all competitions for the Boys in Blue.

Phoenix enters the weekend trying to make a late push toward the postseason. Rising took four points from its recent two-match trip to California and has been difficult to defeat at home, posting a 4-2-4 record at Phoenix Rising Stadium.

Historically, Indy has had the advantage in the matchup. The Boys in Blue are 1-0-1 in two previous meetings with Phoenix, including a 2-1 victory in Indianapolis in 2024.

For Indy, Saturday represents an opportunity to turn a strong August into legitimate late-season momentum.
