Mother Nature Limits Wednesday’s Boys HS Soccer Slate

Wednesday originally had a slate of 24 Boys High School Soccer Matches. Several were postponed due to the heat. Below is a recap of the action that took place.

Class 3A

#19 Chesterton knocks off #4 Valparaiso 3-1 in a battle of previously unbeaten teams. Chesterton remains unbeaten at 6-0 while Valparaiso is now 6-1.

#17 Lake Central improves to 3-1 on the season as the Indians defeat Michigan City 3-1. The Wolves with the loss fall to 0-6.

Class 2A

South Bend Adams plays #3 Mishawaka Marian to a 2-2 draw in regulation and through extra time. Mishawaka Marian pulls out the win in PKs 7-6. The Knights remain unbeaten at 5-0 while South Bend Adams falls to 5-2. 

#5 Illiana Christian and Andrean also played tooth and nail through regulation and extra time. The Vikings take down the 59ers 3-1 in PKs. Illiana Christian is 5-2 after the win. Andrean falls for the first time this season, now 6-1.

#14 South Bend St. Joseph defeats New Prairie 7-0. Following the match, both teams are 3-3 on the season.
